SERHII SHLIAKHTIUK

Film Director and Producer with 10+ years of hands-on experience in producing and directing feature films, music videos, and commercials. Possesses In-depth knowledge of the development of the budget, business plans, timing and work scheduling, script writing, and correction, administrating and controlling the set. Co-founder of LLC Bad Karma Production based in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Started his film carrier in 2009 in the stunt department. Over 3 years he became fight choreographer and stunt coordinator.

He mastered his filming skills in the practice same as in the theory. In 2013 he graduated Kyiv State Academy of Culture and Art, Kyiv, Ukraine, Bachelor in Film and Television Directing. Same year he started a one-year course in Kyiv Academy of Media Arts as a Producer.

In 2014 he co-founded LLC Panacea Picture where he made his first professional Directors projects.

• Hired and managed all on—set crew and post—production crew. (5-25 people).

• Rent equipment from two rental houses in GTA.

• Got all the incuranse and shoot permits for the Downtown street of Toronto.

• Created and managed the shooting schedule and shot lists, coordinating with all department heads.

• Coordinated all departments schedule in pre-production, estimated costs and prepared budgets to ensure workflow meets required deadlines

BAD KARMA PRODUCTION, Kyiv, Ukraine

• Analyzed film market and launched two new films within two years which resulted in a 20% profit increase for the company.

• Found investments in two feature films in the sum of $320,000, and returned all the investments with income.

• First Ukraine implemented royalty for the actors and some crew members which led to an increase in the efficiency of the crew.

• Coordinated the light department new scheme for the equipment delivery due to the location peculiarities that resulted in minus two overtime hours in each of the 15 shifts.

• Signed a contract with a Kazakhstan film distributor that resulted in $57,800 in company revenue.

• Signed 7 product placement contracts for two feature films in the sum of $123,000.

• Signed a contract with Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania film distributors for the upcoming winter season 2022-23.

• Produced Inclusive support for the feature film with the help of the application in every cinema in Ukraine.
